Bridge to Art & Design - Entry Level & Level 1

If you're a young person keen on advancing your visual and creative arts skills, this Inclusive Learning course would be great for you. It covers a wide range of content and provides support tailored to diverse needs and learning styles.

This course has a maximum capacity of 16 students and we have already exceeded that number of applications by a considerable amount. We are therefore no longer accepting applications for this course.

Course Description

You'll have the opportunity to engage in individual projects involving 2D and 3D design, ceramics, printmaking, painting, drawing, and textiles. Plus, there are additional sessions available to aid in your career development, teamwork skills, and work ventures.

Access to specialist studios once a week combined with theory-based sessions complete the course. Class sizes are small with support available as appropriate.

Adult (19+) learners

Depending on your age, course, educational history and personal circumstances, there may be options available for you to receive a course fully-funded by the government. Our fee calculator will help give you an idea on whether you'll be able to have your course fee waived or covered by an Advanced Learner Loan.

Learners with an active Education, Health & Care Plan

If you are aged 19 - 24 at the start of your course and have an active Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP), any course up to and including level 3 will be fully-funded by the government. This means you will not have a course fee to pay and any equipment considered essential to complete your course will be provided by the college.
