Matthew is taking his apprenticeship with Bespak Limited in King’s Lynn. He chose to take an apprenticeship as he is in full-time employment and attends College one day a month for face-to-face assessor sessions, building a portfolio of learning evidence.

He says he values the opportunity to develop new skills alongside his current role and enjoys learning in an open, relaxed environment.

Matthew added, “I’d tell anyone offered an apprenticeship at CWA to grab it with both hands; you won’t regret it. The best part is learning new techniques, meeting people from other industries and being supported by assessors who create an inclusive environment to learn in.’

After completing his apprenticeship, Matthew aims to progress into a more official team leader role and continue onto the Level 5 course.
