Teaching Assistant pathway
Jennifer is in college three days a week and two days at her work experience in a primary school, which she is enjoying immensely.
Jennifer says, “I enjoy the work experience side of the course as I am a hands-on and practical person. As part of the course, we do a lot of arts and crafts, which helps develop our skills as we may need to design a display board in the future.
The tutors that I spoke to at the CWA open day were extremely helpful, letting me know about the T-level course. The more I heard about it, the more I knew it was the course for me!
On completion of this course, I can go straight into work as a teaching assistant or can continue to go into higher education and get a teaching degree. This course also gives you the experience to be a social worker or a child therapist.”
