Swaffham Assembly Rooms (Photography Students Only CC1124 and CC1241)
Historic England presents this four hour introductory level course designed to educate Swaffham residents in how to be able to improve their photography of historic buildings. No prior knowledge is required. All you need to bring to participate is your camera or camera phone.
The event will not provide lunch. However you are welcome to bring a packed lunch or the venue is in central Swaffham which provides many different food options in the lunch break.
These events are funded through Swaffham - A Historic Market Town. This project is joint funded by Breckland District Council, Heritage Lottery Fund, Historic England and Swaffham Town Council. The overall project aims to regenerate Swaffham using history and heritage.
10 .00-15 Welcome - Host [5 minutes]
10.15 - 11.00am - Introduction to photography by James Davies - Historic England.
11.00 -12.30pm - Practical photography session in the centre of Swaffham using the historic buildings as examples
12.30 - 1.15pm - Break for lunch (Not provided)
1.15 -2.00pm - Photography sharing and feedback session reviewing the photographs taken during the morning session
2.00pm - Questions/evaluation and close.
