CCN1 (Domestic Gas Safety)
This is the ERS approved core qualification for engineers who wish to renew an expiring certificate, or enlist on the Gas Safe Register for the 1st time. This can be renewed up to 6 months in advance. If your renewal is not completed within 12 months of expiry or you have gained entry via a Managed Learning Plan an initial assessment will need to be undertaken. With both academic and practical elements learners will gain an overall undertstanding of installation and maintenance requirements of each appliance. Completion of this course means you can enlist on the Gas Safe Register. You will need to complete separate courses for any appliances you wish to work on if you are wanting to add an appliance for the 1st time, please see our Initial Assessments
Certificates expire after 5 years
