Six College of West Anglia (CWA) students will be competing in the 2023 WorldSkills UK finals.

WorldSkills UK is the nation’s largest skills and careers event. It brings together apprentices, students, and young people from across the country to vie to be the best in their chosen skills. The competitions encourage young people to be ambitious in their pursuit of excellence, while equipping them with life-long skills.

This year over 6000 people registered to take part in more than 50 WorldSkills UK competitions. 442 students and apprentices have qualified for the finals, which means CWA finalists are in the top 7% of all students who registered to compete! CWA finalists also represent 30% of all finalists from the East of England.

The 2023 National Finals will take place between the 14th – 17th November in colleges, independent training providers and Universities across Greater Manchester. The awards ceremony will be held Friday 17th November at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.
