CWA Wisbech Campus.

The College of West Anglia (CWA) has launched a campaign to recruit new governors to the board.

CWA is one of the largest providers of education and training in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire and provide the widest range of vocational courses, apprenticeships, A-levels, degrees, and part-time recreational courses. Campuses are located in King’s Lynn, Wisbech and Milton and educate over 7500 students.

CWA are looking for individuals who can bring their expertise, energy and commitment to the college with a specific interest in the provision of first-class education for all of our students. Being a governor at CWA will allow you to contribute to the development of the strategic direction of the college, bringing valuable experience to the board to support and challenge senior leaders. It is an opportunity for you to ‘give back’ to the local community and make a positive contribution to the college and the local area. Being a governor is an unpaid voluntary position and governors are asked to attend up to 12 meetings per year, usually held on a Wednesday morning.

There are numerous opportunities to attend events such as awards evenings and presentations and to participate in learning walks, to help get a better understanding of the day-to-day learning environment at the college and celebrate the success of CWA with our staff and students.

If you are interested in becoming a governor you can find more information here, or otherwise, please contact Jules Bridges, Head of Governance, by phone on 01553 815 288 or by email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
