After having studied Maths and English GCSEs at CWA, Leanne decided to stay local and study her foundation degree at UcWA.
Leanne particularly enjoyed the work-based learning aspect of the degree and aspired to teach full-time. However, the degree has opened new opportunities for Leanne, leading to her accepting a practitioner role within child services.
Reflecting on her time at UcWA, Leanne would say to anyone thinking of returning to learning as an adult, “You can achieve anything at any age”.
