Becky is a course director and lecturer at the College of West Anglia.
She says, “I chose this course for self-development and to further my knowledge and pedagogy in teaching. I was aware of the great teaching team and how the course would fit in with my working life.
To anyone thinking of returning to learning as an adult, I would say do it. Support is available if required, to help maintain a work-life balance.
I enjoyed learning with and from my cohort, having a mentor to discuss ideas with and the teaching. It was hard work and challenging, but I am glad I have done it and I have many memories of teaching sessions, guest speakers and learning from colleagues.”
